PEC Technologies uses Microsoft technologies to build our applications.
Why?
[Are we Bill Gates lemmings?
Not really. ]
We consider ourselves to be pragmatic fanatics. And, quite simply, that means we
need to have excellence in one technology group. We choose Microsoft because of
its prevalence in corporate IT departments, flexibility (solutions for Windows,
web and wireless) and economic viability.
Microsoft is a familiar, common, known-quantity in the corporate IT world. When
we develop applications using the Microsoft toolset, it makes knowledge transfer,
training and maintenance easier for our clients. Moreover, our certification in
various Microsoft technologies means you can be confident in our skills and abilities.
Microsoft has a public commitment to delivering software, “any time, any place and
on any device”. For us, that means that there is commonality across its development
environments… we’re able to make a training investment and leverage it across various
platforms. For you, it means that we can build applications that best suit your
business needs—Windows, web, wireless.
Microsoft is an economically strong corporation. We’re confident that it will use
its resources to evolve technical and business solutions for its customers. We’re
also confident when we build a Microsoft application that there will be a company
around to support, enhance and care for the technology it’s built on.
With the complexity of today’s IT environment, you can’t be an expert in everything.
PEC has and will use other tools, if that’s what you’d prefer. Just ask… if we don’t
think we can do it, or add enough value in the process, we’ll let you know. But
when given the choice, we’d rather leverage our Microsoft knowledge and make the
investment in understanding your business processes… and that’s something you can
really build on.
